They really missed the mark with this casting. They should’ve cast Christopher Abbott. Not only does he have darker, more Dornish features, he looks like he could be Kit Harington‘s brother.

Well semi-book accurate. I still wished they grabbed a more Mediterranean looking actor because Carvel is like… WHITE, like it’s in your face (which makes sense, he’s British).

I feel like he had to work harder to be well liked. He’s got dornish features, which would make him unpopular with many Westerosi Lords and he’s named after one of the weakest kings in history.
