Years and years ago I did dropshipping but at the most I would make $5 on an item but most of the time I would only make $1 per item. The greed of dropshippers the last few years is disgusting. I actually screenshot items that I am interested in on TikTok so I can find them later from the source.

You just described retail. You never would have found the ray without his marketing. So yes you can get it cheaper if you put in more work but most don’t want to.

I always look elsewhere first before I purchase from TT. Sometimes it’s cheaper here. But often Amazon or elsewhere too. lol.

the problem is in the markups. there's nothing inherently wrong with the model. drop shippers help the manufacturers promote their products. I don't see how this is more objectionable than premium brands selling at huge markups.
