Why even get an ipad at all for art if you are not going to use an apple pencil with it? Like, genuinely, that's the main reason I got an ipad (also software compatibility), just draw on your phone or on a low budget android tablet on ibispaint atp, that's what I used to do and it worked fine for a while. (No hate btw, your art looks great, just genuinely curious).
