i have 1 bad review. it was for my birthday (19th) and there was 20 other people with me and the host still allowed us to be there. then left me a terrible review for being “dirty”. mind you i checked every single bedroom before i left that place and there was no dirt. i vacuumed twice during my week stay, but there was some food left in the fridge. sooo that’s made it hard for me to book with another host. never judge a book by its cover!!

I have a bad review, she claimed that we left her apartment a mess and that there was stains on the rug, and whenever I reached out to her to address the issues, she admitted that there were not stains in that she was just disappointed because we tracked a dirt inside, and I was like girl if you left me a vacuum, I would’ve vacuumed…

Also some people go places many times a year 2 reviews out of 100 that can be over exaggerated makes someone look bad many people don’t leave average or even good reviews

So me and my friend stayed in an Airbnb last year and the host hardly provided anything… no soap, washing up liquid, tea towels, sponges. Nothing. We went to cook food and there were dirty cutlery and plates in the cupboards. It just wasn’t a good stay

i had a host fill the room with incense and I had lung issues so I wanted a place with no smoking and then the host left me an awful review and made it sound like i just didnt show. like no bro, i had an asthma attack and needed to leave.

I appreciate hosts like you who will give us a chance! I had a host tell me I could pick up the keys early to the house from their actual house 💀 so I go over there and noone is there, sends me to 3 other places where the keys also aren’t at so we try an cancel it but because we were early Airbnb refused to refund us 😭💀 so we were out $2000 AND she left us an awful review. 5 years later we’ve had enough hosts take a chance on us that we were able to get our rating back up but that was annoying as hell
