The r9 is definitely one of the slower middle weight sport bikes but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad bike. I do get where woods is coming from though the r9 is just a bit to slow for my liking

His opinion. He even staid it’s a great bike with extra features but he been on so many they he likes the feel of a more powerful engine. Sure may have a bigger engine but the zx6r is way faster as a slightly better price. The r9 is the beginner bike for those going to a higher cc bike that’s finest car about speed. A ninja 500 can also go 120 at half the price. The r9 is basically a slightly better beginner bike with a few more features

I seen a company on YouTube make over 130-140 whp with drop in cams and (I think ported head) which is insane because my stock 2012 fireblade makes around 150-160 whp 😂

Brother the zx6r is only a problem now and the recalls they just had were for four washers the bikes fine don’t listen to zx6r haters it’s reliable fast and cheaper than this underpowered garbage

Just buy the 2025 Yamaha R6 race and make it street legal. The R9 is mid and ride by wire give it a lag. The 2025 R6 is a European bike and doesn’t have the limitations that every American sold bike has. So there are no ECU limitations. And you can’t tell me that R9 looks as stunning as the R6 😮💨
