Nurses are the best!! They are the ones that will advocate for you, give you grace/kindness when you’re at your lowest and are in the hospital, and deserve so much more respect in healthcare than they’re typically given 🙏👏

Nurses truly make such a difference. I’ve had nurses notice that I was scared or uncomfortable when in the ER. The came and chatted with me to get my mind off things. The phlebotomist I see at the lab in my hometown always strikes up a conversation, remembers what I’ve told her before, asks for updates and makes sure to hide the vials when she’s done. I’ve been able to talk about my love for Marvel/Yelena Belova with some nurses before. They truly make a difference.
