@cadyebs: Credit card debt can feel extremely suffocating so I suggest sitting down and doing the math for yourself to see which one you want to start paying off first #financialfreedom #debt #howtopayoffdebt #debtrelief #catherineebs
Did the snowball method last year and got my debt paid off. Living debt free is truly the best!! Feels like I have so much more money now because I do! It’s all mine to not have to allocate to payments and interest.

It’s so hard when you’re living paycheck to paycheck. I feel like I can’t make it out of the “minimum payment” but I don’t stop making them because I don’t want late payments on my credit 🥹

I always end up just putting money in a savings account to pay it all off at once. if I pay it off intermittently, I end up using the card more and continue the cycle

Wait if it’s 20% on a $1000 balance wouldn’t that add $200 for each month you don’t pay it? Not 20?

As someone who is in the trenches of paying off debt, financial literacy is so key! Most of us don’t have it because it’s so taboo to talk about!!! I’m really trying to reduce the stigma around talking about it!

I have one credit card.. unfortunately the second half every year kills me and I spend the first half paying it off. lol my love language is gift giving and I just can’t give it up so it’s worth it to me. 💕

This is the avalanche versus snowball method, it’s hard to decide and is very situational

Maybe I'm less driven by emotions but I've always thought snowball is so wildly overrated. Pay more interest and take longer to get out of debt just for "quick wins"? Saving more money and getting out of debt faster sounds like plenty motivation to me.
