When I used to work for Toyota, we had one supervisor crash a rav4 into the yellow barrier pole next to my shop bay when customer came in to do oil change. Our manager spoken to customer explaining what happened, walked the customer outside the dealer lot, and said “pick one and we’ll handle the rest.”

as a shop owner, yes it falls 💯 on the dealership. yes, insurance will kick in. it is up to the dealership and insurance to make you whole again and no it doesn't mean a brand new vehicle.

What’s legitimately crazy to me is the tear in a steel door. As a GM guy you can make fun of Ford’s aluminum doors all day easily, but how bad to you have to mess up for this to happen lol

I once took my car into the dealership for an oil change, when the car was ready they said they would pull it around front, I was confused why it was taking so long until they came back and said they wrecked it backing out of the bay lol

ive pulled over a hundred cabs with the same column lift set up they were using. I always always always strap the cab to the column lifts with a big strap so it cant shift and fall. youre literally working under it. I want to go home to my family at the end of the day and keep my job.
