Ferry Hopper is the worst. Terrible service, no protection, and disruptions arenโt covered. Use ferry hopper to search ONLY and then book directly with the operator. Upvote on sunscreen before you go. So expensive especially on islands.

Accepting POS is mandatory by law in Greece. When POS machines are constantly โnot workingโitโs often not accidental but a way to avoid paying taxes. Tourists are less likely to question it. Encouraging cash only spending ultimately hurts the Greek economy
