it used to be my dream to be a professional figure skater, i gave up on it when i couldn’t afford any kinds of lessons (my dad doesn’t like paying for things, and i was already in band in high school, and he constantly complained about my band fees, so it would’ve been me at 15 paying for everything figure skating wise on my own, it wasnt something i could afford), but every time the olympics roll around, i yearn for the ice 🥀

I’m 54 and started lessons, I love it! There’s a local person who has fitted people for skates for 25 years. She recommended the Jackson Evos. Can’t wait til they come in!

I just wish my closest rink wasn’t so far away. It would be time consuming just to go to classes, let alone go once a week during free skate. I’ve always wanted to learn though 😭
