I CAN’T BELIEVE I DID IT!! 😭💜 🫶🏼 follow @eatingwithkirby for more hacks and recipes like this 🫶🏼 If you followed my 15 Days of Easy Hacks and Recipes, you’ll know I failed on Day 15 to do a Japanese Egg Tornado 🫠, but I persisted and persisted.... and now I found a new HACK to make it! 🏆 It’s SOOO much easier than the other way of using chopsticks and turning the pan with the other hand. 🫰 STEPS 🫰 1. Whisk 2 eggs and a pinch of salt in a bowl 2. Use an 8 inch non-stick pan like me and put it on med to med high heat. Add oil and wait until the oil is hot 🔥 3. Pour in your eggs and let the sides cook/settle for 3 seconds before inserting your fork on one edge of the pan. Pull the fork and egg layer to the other side of the pan and SLOWLY twist the fork in a counter-clockwise motion as you rotate around the pan clockwise 4. Keep rotating until all the egg has cooked and it’s still runny on the top. Immediately turn off heat! 5. The egg will be sticking to the fork so use another fork or spatula to slide the egg off the fork. 6. Slide Egg Torando on top of rice and pair with hayashi sauce or Japanese gravy! ✨ PRO TIP ✨ - I use @hexclad because they can be used with metal forks! Otherwise you can use a wooden fork or spoon even to prevent scratching your pan - Leave the heat on med to med high even while the egg is cooking because you need the egg to cook quickly on the pan - Make sure to rotate your fork SLOWLY so the egg has enough time to cook and form those layers! I tried it fast one time and failed 🙈 Let me know if you’re going to try this at home! 💪🏻 #easyhacks #foodhack #japaneseomelette #tornadoomelette #japanesefood #omurice #tiktokfood #EasyRecipe
