The whole point Jesper never went to the little palace. He was scared and for him the little palace was a prison

The way grisha are treated is my Roman Empire. They’re not safe anywhere.

The way that Alina's speech there is a nod to book Alina repressing being a grisha to stay with Mal, "not wanting to be found"

for some the little palace was a haven, a sanctuary, like for Zoya, but for the majority? they lost everything and even with the walls and uniform and fear, they are still forever outcasts, united but divided. are they truly only safe behind the walls, or have that been twisted to make them think that way so they wont dare to run off on their own? child soldiers with slightly better treatment, but forced to be child soldiers nonetheless, just like everyone else. divide and qonquer

I wish the Crows got a movie like the Rats from the Witcher did. I didn’t even like the rats I didn’t need a backstory I wanted THE SIX OF CROWS

I’m so mad they aged up the characters, especially the crows. Their story heavily relied on the fact they were just kids
