@tommy_woodham: Homemade pickles 🥒 I used the ratio 1:3:2 for my pickling liquid. (Sugar:vinegar:water) Which made them slightly sweet. For example to make 1L of pickling liquid you would use: 142g sugar 500ml vinegar 333ml water IMPORTANT You want to bring the liquid to a boil, you’ll then need to let it cool down before pouring into jars, or you could sterilise your jars (which you probably should do anyways) and then if they’re still hot they shouldn’t crack when pouring hot liquid in. For my spices I used a pre made pickling spice mix that had sage, mustard seed, sage, peppercorns, chilli, dill. You could add whatever spices you’d like to get your desired flavour.
