How Sweet & Summer Love both use the exact same retro sub-genres (Miami bass & electronic dances grooves) meaning they share standard tempo metrics, synthesizer tones, and drum machine patterns common to that style of music
Cool w/ you was co-produced by FRNK and Danish contemporary R&B artist Erika de Casier. Erika de Casier is a well-known pioneer in the European alternative R&B scene whose style naturally aligns with PinkPantheress' British electronic background. Besides, other than the intro that Cool w/ you also had, it doesn't sound very similar.
Attention was already finalized with beats in 2018 by 250. The members began practicing in 2020. So yes, it came out in 2022, but had existed long before. (Please do your research)
Supernatural is sampled by Manami's 'Back of my mind' (written by Pharrel Williams, as we're aware). He has a prominent co-writing and production credit on Supernatural. He himself also was heavily pulling from classic 90s New Jack Swing tropes when he originally composed the 2009 track. Other than some parts, it doesn't sound similar..
M!n Hee-j!n designed the group's concept to act as a bridge.. While "Supernatural" technically samples a Pharrell Williams melody to appeal internationally, its core rhythm and physical aesthetic were designed specifically to tap into the legacy left behind by Deux. Is it plagiarism, though? Well, both tracks use the exact same signature, upbeat swing-drum loop (the "kick-kick-snare" rhythm) and funky bassline. '말하자면' by Deur does NOT own the beat layout. Infact, the entire genre of New Jack Swing does.
'Tennessee Transit' was released slightly before 'Ditto' came out, but it did not exist before NewJeans started training. It was officially released on July 29, 2022, as the closing track on Naked Flames' acclaimed house album Miracle in Transit. By the time it was made public in late July 2022, NewJeans had already finished their 2-year trainee program and had just made their official debut. 'Ditto' was already completely planned and working through early production when NewJeans debuted.
Note: Kpop inspires from all genres, whether popular or not. Saying it's plagiarism is a reach, mind you.
