each characters storyline was absolutely sad and heartbreaking but Baek yijins was just so ugggggh like I really really loved his and felt it deep like a complex male lead but not for reasons like being rich and cocky and closed off but because we can see how difficult his life really was and how depression really took over his soul and how he helped his family from a young age and how he succeeded but losing more, his friends, his love and how that stuck with him forever and heedo her story was perfect, she got everything she dreamed of but lost it all as well including her bestfriend and her storyline with her mother was so important, she worked so hard. Yurim, omg I really relate to her and seungwan. like yurim did everything for her family as well and the constant need to be first place and I could never hate her because she really made me see myself in her. Seungwan her leaving school was so brave and them only seeing her when her father died was really gut wrenching, she was the middle man in the group, she was technically the one who was always alone and there for everyone. Her still keeping in touch with Baek yijin is really sweet. Jiung, happy character with a sad story, him being beaten by that teacher was so sad and he really fought for Yurim and made sure that they stayed together. would have loved to see more of each character inside their own drama. Baek yijin especially, I wonder how his life changed and if he got married or had a child or something and who heedos husband is and their story like why they weren't together anymore and also if she and beakyijin met after. IM SO CURIOUS😭
