@freedomjapanesemarket: We love Japanese bakeries! 🍞🥖🫓🇯🇵 There is such a large assortment of sweets, savory snacks and even full meals. Everything is out in the open and easy to reach. For the most part, people treat the displays with respect and only use the tongs and trays to touch the food. When you pick out all of the snacks you bring everything to the casher. In our local bread shop the trays are clear and are set on a counter light so it is easy to see what you have purchased. Then they give you the bill and you pay using the machine. This keeps the baker from having to touch dirty money before going back to making bread. After you pay for the bread, there are stations by the door with packing materials where you can use as much or as little packing material you need. Which of these pastries would you like to try?
