@_bijaman: Today I’m walking through the garden with quiet hands and an open heart. The season has ripened, and the Earth is offering so much more than I expected. Squashes, butternuts, golden apple squash… each one shaped by months of sun, rain, and silent growth. There’s something special about gathering what you once placed gently into the soil. It reminds me that patience has its own rhythm, and that life matures quietly long before we notice anything changing. As I lift each one from the ground, I can feel the stories held in their skin. The early mornings spent watering half-awake. The heatwaves they survived. The storms they pushed through. All the little moments that helped them become what they are now. Maybe that’s why I love these harvest days so much. They’re simple, almost ordinary, but somehow they speak straight to the heart. They remind me that everything we nurture, inside or outside, eventually returns to us. Not loudly. Not dramatically. But softly, in its own perfect timing. And today it returns in the shape of this colourful harvest, earthy and golden, imperfect and beautiful; a quiet reminder that growth is always happening, even when we don’t see it.
