mine worked great. make sure you clean the area with rubbing alcohol and allow that to dry. I also used a hairdryer once I had it on to help adhere it. I had to replace a piece once because it's on my front door and it gets a lot of use.

I used this at my last two homes. Both places were extremely drafty, so my heating bill didn't come down much for my own situation. The tape does stick well if you clean the door, wipe with alcohol, and press it on smoothly. There was definitely less air flow because the tape simply kept the air from flowing in.
