there is several things wrong in this situation, the neighbors do have every right to check because you need to check what the threat is so you can make the right call. it was a dumb idea to look over his wall and not get down. the neighbor should know fully well that you do not shoot something unless they are a threat and you intend to destroy, basic fucking gun safety. the issue on guns in America is the number of people who have guns that disregard safety or don't know anything about firearms. you never just shoot blindly in another direction just because you were frustrated.
