There is nothing wrong with the coffee date. Dating is expensive, especially if you’re going out on multiple dates a week. Why am I going to go and drop 100 or more dollars on a dinner just to feed someone I’m meeting for the first time and most likely will never see again? Get to know the person casually first then if there’s something they’re worth exploring dinner comes on the second or third date when it’s a little more worth your time and money investment.

We are much simpler than even that. Coffee we are trying to see if $10 will get us laid. If not, dinner is next, see if $60 will work. If not, drinks. You never know what that’ll cost so it’s last.

seriously, what is wrong with a coffee date. you two don't know each other, and also, it allows for the two of you to find a nice place with Semi-privacy and speak and get to know each other. that is the goal of dating, I thought... 🤷
