I had a realtor that told me to go ahead and turn the water on myself. House was vacant and this was my 3rd time trying to get this inspection done as the house was winterized , and the listing agent was supposed to get it unwinterized. Going against my gut feelings, I turned the water on. 3 hours later I got the water cleaned up. Every copper elbow was damaged from freezing and I had water all over the place in a house that didn't have anything to clean it up with. I had to go buy a mop and towels to clean everything up. I billed the realtor for my time, but never got paid.
