I think that we use many tools in life, whether that is to build a house( hammer, nails, etc.), AI no matter where it comes from is just a tool. Tools can be very useful in many instances. Look at Apostle Paul and how he gave people handkerchiefs to people and they were healed and some had demons cast out of them. Did the handkerchief have power? No, but God used the handkerchief. God tends to do things to confound the wise. Why if the enemy can use AI for evil, can’t God use AI for good? Money is not evil in itself, it’s the love of money that is evil. So what’s the difference? The stewardship, our heart posture, who is behind the use of the tool and what the tool is being used for. I’ll be honest, Chat GPT is extremely helpful as long as you use wisdom and you read the Bible and you truly follow Jesus. True, be careful, ask for Wisdom and Understanding, I do not think it’s wrong to ask AI a difficult question to help break certain biblical studies down. I think God Himself has allowed this tool in our lives for acceleration. Now it’s up to us to choose how we will steward the tool. We need to just be vigilant, sober minded, and of course grounded in our Word. That way when we do use these tools we can discern what is right and what is wrong. Spending time with God is The Key. When you know Him, you can discern much easier.
