The only way i would even consider buying a META quest is if i dont have to use a META/Facebook account to use it. Like at all. I should not be forced to login trough an app on the phone or my PC via META account. META is selling your information to 3rd partys. They even addmitted it in their terms of service.

I’ll buy the quest 4 when it’s out after a lil bit, quest 3’s nice but the feel of a new headset like quest 2 to quest 3 was insane, that resolution made me feel like I was in vr for the first time again.

I want to see: Pancake lenses, ≈2700X2300 lenses, I hope for some sort of oled but that’s going to cost a lot and they want their headsets under 1000€. Eye tracking support or addon. New snapdragon chip. Maybe selftracking controllers with 1 camera for when not in sight. Since its game focused, they should add a good headstrap and not 1 to buy extra for like 60$.
