I would have painted the ceiling the same color as the walls. Because it would have made the ceiling look taller. Because it looks like the ceiling are only 8ft tall. However cute room.

80% of painting is prep work, which is tarping, cleaning, taping, spackling, sanding, etc. Then cutting in, then rolling. If you do it, the finished result will look more like it was professionally done.

If you’re renovating work from the ceiling down so the floors are the last thing and you don’t have to worry about paint and other stuff messing them up.
