If you have made an impressionable impact in your interview, the client is going to be following up with you. You shouldn’t have to follow up with the client if you’re doing that more than likely they have moved on to another candidate.

How would you approach this if it were a group teams interview, person who has the position currently/ the department manager/ the CEO but no HR or hiring manager. This was today for my second round interview. They mentioned they will follow up and provide feedback and asked if I would do the same. Both of my interviews haven scheduled through HR.

so if I have an interview on a Friday morning. do I send the thank you email on Monday morning!? Would it be better to wait until Tuesday. Feels like such a long time, would give me anxiety. But this would be really helpful to know for this week!

Disappointing that a statement made “will have info for you Tuesday” but I have to follow up on Wednesday to get the “we’ve moved in a different direction”. It would be so nice to not have to reach out to get the rejection. It would be more professional to hear good or bad.

Should I send a thank you after the first round which was (hopefully) 1 of 4 rounds? It was a technical interview with mostly yes or no questions and scaling qualifications.

Hey! I had 2 interviews with a major bank. My last interview was on dec 3 with a large panel. I did send the thank you note the same day. My recruiter was out of the office the next 2 days. I wasn’t told about the timeline that they would get back to me. Should i follow up tomorrow,Tuesday?
