The brothers, Jake, a YouTuber-turned boxer and Logan, a YouTuber-turned WWE wrestler, were invited to the Pentagon to address soldiers ahead of National POW/MIA Recognition Day - a day dedicated to honouring service members who were prisoners of war (POWs) or remain missing in action (MIA). The brothers, who also met with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, praised service memebers for their willingness to “live, die and fight for their country”. Logan, who hosted Donald Trump on his ‘Impaulsive’ podcast in 2024, was heard saying: “We just got the pleasure and the privilege of getting a tour of the Pentagon and what a cool experience.” “I don't think there is any greater commitment to sacrifice than those who are willing to live, die and fight for their country,” he said. Jake continued: “That's what God created us for, is to lift each other up in the hard moments, to be there for each other in the hard moments, and to come together as a collective and fight for good.” Mr Hegseth has been mocked for using the influencers to inspire troops. Former GOP Representative Adam Kinzinger, who voted to impeach Trump in 2021, wrote on social media: “We aren’t a serious country at the moment”.
