If you prefer a less rich/sweet cookie I would recommend using a thinner layer of frosting! 🤎) Buttercream Frosting ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened 2 cups powdered sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Pinch of salt 1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet. 2. In a bowl, beat softened butter + sugar until light and creamy. 3. Mix in the egg and vanilla. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. 5. Add dry ingredients into the wet and mix until a soft dough forms. Add sprinkles into dough. 6. Scoop dough into balls, place on the baking sheet. (Optional: chill the dough for 30 minuets in the fridge if you don’t want your cookies to spread out as much) 7. Bake 10–12 minutes, or until edges look set but not browned. Let cool completely before icing. 8.
