The flip side at independent shops we are seeing huge repairs. Customers keeping cars and so far upside down they couldn’t give the car away.

I will never take my car to a dealer for service unless its warranty related. doesnt matter what brand I've owned the service counter people dont want to be there and it shows. then everytime I've had a car in to the service department it takes 2 days to diagnose 2 days to get the parts and 3 days to fix. no one is in a rush to get it done and when I ask for a simple update they act like im pulling their teeth out to get some kind of information

I work for a Honda dealership in service. We’re not losing any money or seeing a lose of customers. It doesn’t mean the point is not wrong overall, just saying it’s not every dealership

slow who's slow i have 6 ro on my box theres 20+ used cars written up tow ins phones always ringing tires stacked up everywhere. most of its suck work but at least im busy

There’s nothing to do with the chips. It has to do with pork quality way out of control prices on both new and used cars as well as the service department billable hours. Technicians are getting screwed left and right on warranty because that’s all that’s actually being paid for. At $200 an hour in most jobs that’s Highway robbery for profit.
