2020-2026 ford explorer at with the 3.0l twin turbo v6 doesn’t have exhaust manifolds either, it is amazing and people are getting 750+ awhp on stock turbos!!!

crazy how older Ks have more potential then the K20C. K24s be making 700whp on the stock longblock. the only advantage the K20C has over the older Ks is direct injection.

long oil change intervals don't guarantee longevity or high potential 🤦🏽‍♂️

12,000 mi oil change interval is actually insane I'll stick to my three to five thousand, although my parents drive the damn thing 3000 miles in 2 weeks so I'm buying an oil change every fucking payday, they ought to pay for the maintenance at this point

You can exceed 400whp and as long as you don't overly abuse the engine non stop they'll go the distance. I only got 85k but a buddy I did a turbo swap for made it to 165k miles before his head gasket let go, new head gasket and arp studs and its back on the road big turbo easily over 400whp

You misunderstood the 12k miles / 1 year oil change, you have a free oil change that you can use within that period, I have service pass on mine and I did oil change at 2000 miles, Honda says service is due when the maintenance minder is on unfortunately they don't do mileage based maintenance anymore

The Ea888s are the same way with the mani being in the head, it makes it a little easier to get to some exhaust parts in the back. But no header swap easy HP gains either

it's because honda is more of a bike company that makes cars rather than vice versa. that's why some of the old honda cars sound a lot like big motorbikes. they make some cracking cars and bikes, especially performance (I have a type r and 2 honda sport bikes)

Most newer cars from like 2014 & up use the smaller spark plug now. Toyota, Chevy, Subaru and Honda have them from what I have seen so far.

why does the fl5 have more space in front of the turbo and the fk8 is so tight in that area??

I wouldn’t tune it or mess with it. These cars as well as the 2.0T accord can develop a crack in the cylinder head where the cat bolts to the head. The lip on the exhaust creates a little dam and you can see coolant pool up there. I don’t know what causes it, but adding power and stress can’t help.
