I think most cheating men would be shocked by the following but oftentimes women who seek relationships with married men only do so because of the wife. It tends to be the only time a woman can be with a man & not be expected to carry the load of maintaining that man. She doesn't really want him after the wife leaves because she never wanted the day to day drugery of taking care of a man. The wife is oftentimes the one who picks out his clothes. He only has time for the affair because the wife is managing the rest of his life. Some women don't really even want the man. They want to be who the wife is & they think the man is part of that when he usually isn't. There are some women who go after married men, not because they want that man but because they want to feel like they "won" over the wife. In these scenarios the affair partner will almost immediately lose interest after the wife leaves him for the cheating & the men can't figure out why it's different. Women can be very complex. Also the fact that these cheating men can't seem to grasp that someone who knowingly cheats with a married man doesn't respect marriage so if you marry them, they won't respect that marriage either & will cheat on them. Men fundamentally do not understand women. Them not understanding that women who help them cheat aren't doing so because they simply cannot resist you. It's almost universally, with very few exceptions, about your wife in some way. Healthy women aren't trying to date married dudes.
