Addressing comments saying he was too high: He was aiming for before thousand foot markers. That means he still had close to 2500’ of runway remaining, and was able to exit at taxiway 2/3 of the runway down. It definitely qualifies for normal approach.

My first cross country I flew through a thunder cloud in Florida. My coms fell out the dash through turbulence. I kept dropping like a stone and couldn't climb. I had to fly super low over a town. Scariest thing in my life! When I got back by following lakes and roads my landing put the front wheel into a wobble like a shopping cart it wad so hard. I finished and got my ppl but haven't flown solo since.

To all you youngsters out there that limit yourself internally stop you, my friend I don’t care what your background is. I don’t care what your money is. You can do anything and be anyone you want to be just like everybody else you are no different you can be taught. I miss my opportunities because I thought I wasn’t good enough for a lot of things in life self-esteem it didn’t show but my self-esteem was low. There’s nothing in this world. None of you cant achieve.

I had the best solo landing my flight instructor had ever seen. My dad, a pilot, was on the ground with a big smile. Never forget that day.

Yes there was errors, but for the first unassisted it was great. Work out those issues and build that’s confidence!
