As a therapist people have been in a constant state of distress the pandemic. The base of Maslow Hierarchy of Needs has been in consistent threat since Trump's first term and the pandemic pushed that.

i mean studies have shown covid, the virus, can cause brain damage as well as encephalitis, ME/CFS, and so much more. not only that but people have a decrease in empathy because the state of society rn and the current administration supporting anti empathy

I noticed in the recent comments that some legislator made about people being kinder to each other in public and not wearing pajamas in the airport. It's almost like they're telling us it's okay to talk to each other again. I don't like being in public anymore.

I genuinely think most of us are going through some form of Psychosis. I don’t think anyone’s talking about it because it’s still semi rooted in reality. But as someone who’s worked customer service for years. We’re all exhausted and when you’re extremely exhausted it becomes do your job or be nice. Our brains I think have just been through too much and it’s trying to fill in the blanks and it isn’t doing it well because we’re all tired.
