@houseplusplant: Use a couple drops in a gallon of water EVERY TIME you water EVERY PLANT!! It’s so embarrassing when I have guests over and a gnat ends up in their drink — or up their nose! Plus it’s so annoying having them fly around! Fungus gnats live in the soil of our houseplants. If there is any amount of moisture they can thrive, so letting your plants dry out more between waterings really doesn’t help much. One gnats can lay 200+ eggs 😩 so you can have an infestation on your hands pretty quickly! Did I mention they also thrive in moss, perlite, bark, basically any organic medium?! So really the only way to keep them under control is with this stuff! These drops contain a bacteria that kills fungus gnat larvae in the soil before they can turn into flying adults. This breaks the lifecycle and creates gnat-free plants. The bacteria live for 2 weeks max so if you don’t have the bacteria in the soil and a gnat comes in & lays eggs your back to square one! I’ve just made it part of my watering routine, and the great thing is you can add it to your container of water along with your fertilizer or other amendments! #plants #houseplants #PlantLover #fyp #foryourpage #foryoupage #houseplantsoftiktok #houseplantclub #houseplantcommunity #amazon #amazonstorefront #houseplantcare #plantcare #planttips #planthelp
My war against fungus gnats has been going on for 4 months now. I’ve been using mosquito bits- is this better? Also, I noticed I can’t buy it from Amazon? Is it available in the US?

@House + Plant what about with self watering pots? does it need contact with the soil from the top down or is it enough to have it in the water it absorbs?
