One of the issues with Mars is that it doesn’t have a molten core. The diameter of Mars is approximately 4,222 miles. One half that, the radius, is 2,111 miles. Was thinking undertaking of immense engineering skills would be to drill to the center of Mars and heating the center until it became molten. Not sure what is at the center, perhaps iron and nickel have to be added. The lack of a magnetic core resulted in loss of an atmosphere and no volcanic activity. Recent discoveries show Mars has a liquid outer core and a solid inner core.
