@luckyhando: This Birthday Tradition Became a Ramen in Korea Today’s video is about one of Korea’s most unique ramen concepts — the **Ottogi Beef Seaweed Soup Ramen**, released in 2018. It’s inspired by *miyeok-guk*, the seaweed soup Koreans eat on their birthdays, so it immediately feels familiar and meaningful. 💰 Ottogi Beef Seaweed Soup Ramen: ₩1,800 (≈ $1.33) In Korea, miyeok-guk is a special dish. Every Korean eats it on their birthday, and many people grow up eating it their whole lives. Turning this into a ramen was such a creative idea, and it’s actually the only ramen in Korea with this concept. The noodles are slightly green because they’re made with rice powder, and the dried toppings include real dried seaweed. The “beef” inside is actually soy-based, but the broth tastes surprisingly rich and deep, almost like real beef broth. The texture is chewy, the flavor is comforting, and this ramen has a strong fanbase in Korea because of how unique and nostalgic it feels. If you ever celebrate your birthday in Korea, definitely try this ramen — it fits the day perfectly. 📍 Hongdae, Seoul #KoreanRamen #Ottogi #Miyeokguk #쇠고기미역국라면 #KoreanBirthday
