I'm sorry you're going through that. I know it's very uncomfortable. I have Cirrhosis. After being in Liver Failure, I kept a very strict diet, including cutting out all Sugars, took my meds faithfully, and I incorporated exercise in to my daily life. I did the full work up for a Transplant but just as I was going to get ready to be listed my MELD dropped from a 30 to 10. Doctors attributed this to my Strict Diet. Therefore, they did not list me. I know several other people who have similar stories to mine. Many of your recent posts you talk about your Diet being crappy or needing to eat a lot of sugar. You do eat a lot of candy including sour candy which is full of Sucralose which is not good for the Liver. You also eat Pickles which are very high in sodium which can cause Edema and Ascites. Diet is Critical when you have Cirrhosis. In your case, I think your Edema and Ascites returning are related to your diet. IMO I want to make sure that viewers are very clear that even if you have Cirrhosis you can still have Hope that you can turn your situation around before you need a Transplant. I am living Proof.

My dad had this and they kept saying it was due to his heart and kept him on fluid pills. 6 months later he died of liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. Smh

Drink alkaline water. Or take milk thisle. that works really good for liver.

my sister just passed from alcoholic hepatitis I'm so heart broken she never told anyone and knew she had it and kept drinking 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I too have stage 4 liver failure. I was diagnosed with it when I was throwing up blood, had blood in my stool. I woke up in the ICU 4 days later. My first belly tap removed 13 liters of fluid from my belly. This happened January 31 2025. Stay strong lady 🌸

hey hun, frequent fligher with edema and acites here😞,elivate your feets above hip level,use cold packs on your ankles and walk as much as you can.warm pack on the acites lay on left side helps spleen filter better. I hate days like this,hope tomorrow is a better day🥰
