i have a question ... When a child is born, he doesn’t know whether he is Muslim, Hindu, or any other religion. As he grows up, he only follows the path his family has shown him, without realizing that the true faith is Islam. He is raised in such darkness, and the surrounding environment makes him unaware that other religions even exist. So why would he be punished when he doesn’t even know which religion is the true one?

بعض ناقدین کے مطابق قرآن میں جنینی نشوونما کے جو مراحل بیان ہوئے ہیں، وہ دراصل یونانی طبیب ہپوکریٹس اور جالینوس کی صدیوں پرانی تحریروں سے ملتے جلتے ہیں۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ “نطفہ، علقہ، مضغہ” اور “چبائے ہوئے گوشت جیسی شکل” کا تصور اُس زمانے میں پہلے سے عام تھا، اس لیے قرآن نے کوئی نیا سائنسی حقائق نہیں پیش کیے بلکہ اُس دور کے مروجہ طبّی خیالات ہی کو مذہبی زبان میں دہرا دیا۔
