oooh interesting, i always cover my tea while it’s steeping with the intention of keeping it hot longer, but had no idea about the oils - fascinating !!!

I'm not trying to wash 1 more extra unnecessary dish if I don't have to.. My ocd and anxiety tells me that the "cover" is now dirty from the steam or whatever has come into contact with it.
