@rainbowshospice: Freddie was diagnosed just after his 10th birthday with a rare brain tumour. There have been fewer than 60 of these diagnoses ever known worldwide. Freddie had three surgeries to remove the tumour and underwent two bouts of radiotherapy and two rounds of chemotherapy. Sadly, in June 2024, Freddie developed secondary leukaemia because of the chemotherapy, and his brain tumour came back. Devastatingly, at this time, his family knew there was nothing more that could be done, so Freddie and his family spent the last few months of his life making memories together and doing all the things he loved to do.
