Let's not forget that a birth mother just had to make the hardest decision of her life, she will never get over it. My birth mother never got over having to place me for adoption 43 years ago, my sister's birth mother took her own life a year after she placed her baby. So many birth parents desperately want to keep their babies but aren't given the resources to be able to do so. More should be done to keep mother's and their babies together. Adoption is trauma, no matter how sweetly you wrap it up.

As an adopted person with a sister that was adopted too, there is nothing better 😌. The sister bond can be the best thing in the whole world when youre both adopted 👩‍❤️‍👩
