@saladpictures_: PC Build Bootcamp: Episode 7 | GPU Install Everyone loves a clean, aesthetic, triple-fan GPU. This @NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 from Zotac is perfect for this build, since the case is so spacious. I was having a super hard time getting the GPU to fully seat with the cable management cover on in the case, so I removed it. I was telling @DanKamYouKnow how weird this was, and he helped me figure out that it was definitely user error on my part. I put the cable management cover back on and with a little elbow grease, I finally got the GPU to seat. It kept getting stuck where the two prongs seat into the case itself, not the piece that goes into the motherboard. Here’s our final parts list: ✨ Case: Frame 5000D from @corsair ✨ Motherboard: @ASUS ax Gaming ✨ CPU: @AMD Ryzen 7 7700X ✨ Storage: @Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB ✨ RAM: 16 GB DDR5 from @TEAMGROUP ✨ AIO: corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 ✨ Fans: corsair LX120 x9 ✨ PSU: corsair RM1000x ✨ GPU: Nvidia RTX 5070 from Zotac When you’re installing your GPU, you want to make sure it is fully seated. You also might want to opt for a sag bracket if you’re using a larger GPU, since sagging over time can negatively impact the connection between the GPU and the motherboard.
