@leaderofthepacklv: Insecurity is by far one of the leading causes of aggression and reactivity in my experience. So what causes a dog to become insecure? 1. Poor socialization 2. No rules, no boundaries, no direction 3. Mishandling during critical developmental stages 4. Sheltered dogs with zero real world experience 5. Excessive cuddling and babying In other words, humans cause insecurity.
sooo how can we work with a dog's insecurity? and how do they become insecure in the first place?

If the dog been traumatised when young especially with some breads it very difficult to cure … best avoid circumstances that trigger their insecurity…or allow them time to settle then praise & reward over long long time? 🤷🏻

Very interesting, how would this be best addressed? I.e. how do we build that security in the dog?

I have 2 little dogs. They were both socialized and suddenly my boy dog got aggressive just to other dogs and my girl dog hides. We have tried with other dogs to help and I don’t know how to handle it. Help.

This is exactly my chihuahua mix with me. He gets real bold if he is beside me but if I’m up and moving around and someone comes into the house, he hides behind a chair and barks

Our staffy pitbul does this . I walk him feed him for 8yrs as soon as my daughter is home I can’t leave my bedroom he wants to attack me . I live in fear every day . I told her to not have him in her room that’s why he’s aggressive to me .

Ladies with the attitude😏 :
I have a 1yr old chihuahua, her sister needed a home a year after we got her so we met up and they got on great. We agreed to take her sister from the same litter. They get on great but fight over me, when my husband is home they stop. What do I do? They both hate men as well and only tolerate my husband. 😩
