tips are optional, Yes I say this but as a customer anytime I dodash I always especially since I only DoorDash less than a mile away I always tip at least $2 because they're still using their gas. plus as a driver, you see the travel miles ahead of time before you even accept the order.

With door dash, don’t you tip before hand? And also, doesn’t the driver accept or deny the delivery as well? 12 miles, even when busy takes me 24 mins. And that’s busy busy. Not no 40 mins.

You know how far the drive is BEFORE you accept the order. You can pass on deliveries.

Doordash, Uber Eats etc. essentially have the people that work for them working on commission. Tipping is optional but when they are getting $2, $4, $6 base pay see what happens to your order.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
