@investordna: What surprised me in this video wasn’t just that provinces have different tax brackets and rates… It’s how much that difference can matter once you start drawing from RRSPs, CPP, OAS, pensions, and investments. I wouldn’t recommend chasing the “best” province. But I would recommend making thoughtful decisions about: • when to take CPP/OAS • how and when to draw down RRSPs vs TFSAs • how to smooth income over time • how to reduce lifetime tax instead of focusing on a single year Small adjustments can meaningfully change how long your money lasts and how much flexibility you have along the way. #c#canadianretirementr#retirementplanningr#retirementtaxesf#financialplannerw#wealthplanning
there shouldn't be any income tax after retirement, we have paid enough

Content request: let’s say your 78 married and with spouse 75 . At this point in retirement what critical checks should you do in planning ? For argument sake let’s say never used tfsa before .

It’s interesting, people think AB is automatically low taxes, but only for those who are high income earners. Is this Conquest btw? I’m learning to use it.

I am literally moving to BC as we speak from Ontario as we speak. I still have a few years left before I retire. When I retire in BC do I get the full benefit of the BC tax impact or is it prorated between BC and Ont?

Interesting…this is just taking into account income tax correct? Should develop a calculator that incorporates all tax and then an area for cost of living.

Higher tax in NB versus Alberts but up to 2021 who bought homes a lot cheaper . Faster pay off and more room to invest . Not as much now where average home is 350 versus 150k.

Are strictly living on savings??? What if they have pensions and CPP and OAS to add to the mix? It doesn’t seem like the whole picture, am I correct?
