Not sure if the doctors have mentioned it, but he may have bone pain as his marrow rebuilds after each chemo treatment and Benedryl is an antihistamine and it helps combat that pain. It helped my son so much. Praying for you all!! ❤️

Please tell me they use pain relief cream prior to accessing his port! We traveled from NH to Boston for treatment and would put the cream on before we left, drive the hour and a half and he would be numb when we got there! Cancer for a child should be as pain free as they can make it!

Gosh I wish my grandson and your son were in the same location. Jayden always makes all the smaller kids feel better. PHI+Leukemia here. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Do you have a good social worker on your floor. Ours explained everything to Jayden in terms he could understand. So grateful for tha alone.

He really really needs that shot really needs it. It’ll help a great deal but you make sure that he takes an allergy pill with it because it causes bone pain and the allergy pill stops the bone pine. I know it for 100% in fact went through it and the bound made a big difference. Can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head that the doctor will now make sure he takes it do not give it to him every day from treatment of treatment make sure he takes it.
