Hi! Thanks for this. I’m a somewhat beginner dancer, maybe starting to push intermediate depending on studio. I’ve been dancing about 3 years now and used to be a gymnast. My studio only has intermediate & advanced for the dance I like (contemporary) and I started in intermediate. I started trying to take the advanced. I’m the worst in the class as most of them have danced their whole life. But I feel like it’s making me a better dancer. My only concern is not knowing my place and worrying I’m bringing the level of the class down. But I try to just stay out of peoples way and not ask questions to slow the class down. My studio is rly welcoming and people are really nice to me. But I do feel worried. Thoughts please? Love your content! I’m in Santa Cruz, wish I could come to LA to take a class with you!
