@forevergreenapp: The Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) is the world’s largest living lizard and a formidable apex predator native to Indonesia. With powerful jaws and razor-sharp teeth, it can swiftly overpower prey—including octopuses—thanks to its ambush tactics and unmatched ferocity. This behavior highlights the Komodo dragon’s critical role in maintaining ecological balance on its native islands by regulating prey populations and supporting biodiversity. At Forevergreen, we spotlight Earth’s most fascinating species and their vital place in our natural systems.
