@itsyourmoneygirl: Should you get a debt consolidation loan? 💵 I share my take on this. Yes, debt consolidation loans can simplify your life and even provide lower interest rate so you pay off your debts faster. But here’s the problem. You’re not solving the problem that got you in debt in the first place. Without changing your habits, many people will end up racking up credit card debt again and now you have a loan PLUS credit card debt. #creditcard #loan

So pay more on interest on all of them instead of combining them and paying a lower interest🤔

But the bad thing about paying off 1 card at a time is that the cards with the highest interest will be getn taking a toll on you big-time the whole time you're paying off cards this way

What about a balance transfer of all credit card debt to a new cc with 0% APR for 12-18 months?

I agree 💯. When I retired I paid off all of my credit cards only to get back in debt with them a few months later because what I learned is that my spending habits had not changed after retirement. Now, I only purchase what I can afford to pay off in one or two payments. I'm can see my savings growing from the money I was paying in cc payments.

I agree with you, and your earlier video about paying for everything with a credit card instead of a debit card that's why I don't encourage people that have a spending problem to do that. Generally they have that spending problem with the credit card because they don't see it coming out of their bank account until they have to make a monthly payment and when you're making the minimum that's easy but it takes forever to pay it off, so if they pay for everything with a credit card they're going to do the same thing they're going to act like their bank account has no bottom.
