After working for a CU for 6 years/ I couldn’t agree more!! AND don’t forget the CU can finance in MMP/GAP the fees are wild less!!! The CU cuts the check once the purchase order is in- and bam. Check is delivered and you already walked away with lowest APR AND CU WARRANTY RATES!!

Always research the car first (recalls, reviews and ratings) then find it in a dealership website, get a pre approval letter for the amount including tax, title, and registration, doc fees. Once in the finance office, no matter what they want to add on DO NOT go over the amount on the pre approval letter.

I went in with a pre approval of 4.99 from a credit union dealer offered me 4.89 with cheaper gap and dropped down the price of my extended warranty 😁 they wouldn’t have beat that Apr if I didn’t come in with one 😎
