I might be one of the very few Yt people who knew the history behind Betty Boop and about Baby Esther. My mom ADORED Betty Boop and she knew that "cutsie" style was Baby Esther. I remember her telling me about how that persona was stolen from her. I didn't even know the Yt woman's name until a couple years ago, but I knew who Baby Esther was since I was a kid. It's absolutely disgusting that a group of grown people stole a child's future and legacy.
